the evolution of primates!
changes in body structure!
These two pictures show that over time the primate skull and brain has become larger.
Primates also devolped grasping hands whish means that thay devolped hands that can grab onto thimgs. Also, if you look at the picture with all the hands, they all have some type of bone structure that is similar.

when did primates first appear?
transitional fossils that show evolution of primates
In the beginning of Eocene Epoc (55.8-33.9 million years ago) their were squirrel sized and apperence animals that looked different from primates today but they devolped grasping hands and feet that were more efficient to grabing objects and climbing trees. Also, their eyes indicated that they devolped effective stereoscopic vision. Which means that they have binocular vision or they can see very well out of each eye.
At the end of the Eocene monkeys began to evolve during the Oligocene. Aegyptopithecus is an extinct primate that is 38 million years old. The size of these primates where like a fat squirrel. The latter was the same size as a dog. These animals had fewer teeth, less fox like snouts, larger brians, and forward looking eyes. New World monkeys appeared for the first time about 30 million years ago. Around the time they appeared scientists believed that they were around old world monkeys.

Dr.Martin vice president of academic affairs at The Field Museum who studied primates for 30 years. Primates on the other hand had a comman ancestor that was 85 million years old that probaly looked like a primative, a small brained version of todays dwarf lemur. Over time scientists think that the animal was once nocturnal, there babies would hang onto it's mother. Also, they developed grasping hangs and feet.

Common structures in primates
Another similarity is that gorrilas and humans share the same bone structures but the only difference is that gorrilas have longer bones.
